What we collect

• Guest inquiries: name, email, phone, dates, party size and message. These are sent to the Host you contacted and stored so the Host can view them in their dashboard.
• Host accounts: name, contact details, listing content and photos, and billing records.
• Email service customers: name, contact details and requested addresses.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security, spam prevention and basic statistics. If you create a guest account, the hosts you contact see your name, email, phone number and the ratings other hosts gave you; your reviews of a stay show your first name and the month of your stay. A session cookie keeps you signed in, a visitor cookie counts unique visits, and hosts and administrators who sign in get a cookie that remembers their device for 30 days so the sign-in security check can be skipped. Page-view records (IP address, page, referring site and browser) are kept for up to a year; sign-in records are kept for security.

How we use it

To operate the Site, deliver inquiries to Hosts, provide the services you sign up for, prevent fraud and abuse, and contact you about your account. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

Inquiry details are shared with the Host you contact. Once a Host has your information, their use of it is governed by their own practices, not ours. We use service providers (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) who handle data on our behalf. We may disclose information when required by law.

Retention and your choices

We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above. To access, correct or delete your information, contact info@torchlake.com.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
